Our first home (technically second, but you know what we mean) Edmonton is near and dear to us: more than two decades ago, we opened a record store on the south side of the North Saskatchewan River and we’ve never looked back.
Two decades is a long time, and we’ve been through a lot together: when we opened up the store, Jan Reimer was mayor; we’ve seen more bad Oilers teams than we care to count and; our Whyte Avenue location has survived multiple riots unscathed.
So whether you’re scarfing down green onion cakes at a summer festival, cruising on the Whitemud, enjoying the river valley, or burrowing away for the winter, we’re here when you need high quality music to act as the soundtrack to your life. In all genres, and on vinyl, CD and cassette, we are Edmonton’s premier independent record store, and the best place to buy tickets, too. We also carry a wide selection of local music—just ask any of our knowledgeable staff to point you in the right direction.
So come see us, give us a call or shoot us an email. If we don’t have what you’re looking for we can get it, quickly and at a good price. We can also do mail order if you live out of town or, if you live in Calgary, come see our new store on 17th Ave!
